The new Watermill at Manayunk condominiums were constructed from a historic mill located in the heart of this Philadelphia neighborhood.

During an $8M renovation of the building, the owner terminated the general contractor, then entered into a settlement agreement with the same contractor to complete the work.

The owner later terminated the general contractor for failing to meet the terms of the settlement agreement and the surety was brought in. The owner then brought suit against the general contractor for completion costs and non-conforming work.

TRAUNER was hired by the surety to review project documents and provide expert opinions on the termination, overpayment issues, and non-conforming work.

TRAUNER also oversaw the work of an engineering firm that was analyzing design issues related to the structural integrity of the construction work.
