The project was the $77.8M construction of a new Public School at 45 Waverly Place, Staten Island, NY. The school has since been named The Waverly Academy of Empowered Learners.

TRAUNER reviewed the contractor’s baseline schedule, schedule updates, and time extension requests throughout the duration of this project. This project is part of our term contract to provide the NYC School Construction Authority with project schedule and time extension review services.

The contract and the SCA were able to achieve TCO on June 8, 2022, in time to open the school for the 2022-2023 school year. During the summer of 2022, TRAUNER evaluated the contractor’s Supplemental TIA #2 to determine the amount of additional contract time that the contractor was entitled to receive.
