TRAUNER was awarded a multi-year term contract by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) to provide expert professional project delivery services as part of the Engineering Operation Division’s Call-In Program.

Our scope of work includes:

  • Evaluating Time Impact Analyses (TIAs) for conformance to contract requirements and project facts to determine the contractors’ entitlement to time extensions.
  • Providing Project Control Engineers (Schedulers) or other personnel to perform Project Management, Scheduling, Cost Control, project proposal preparation, or other management/control services, on an as-needed basis;
  • Analyzing, and providing design and programming services to the Engineering Department in the area of integrated computerized program/project control and reporting systems;
  • Recommending and implementing modifications to the existing procedures and reporting systems that the Engineering Department utilizes to control the budgets, schedules, costs, and resources of the projects it manages;
  • Preparing project control reports and presentations;
  • Providing training support Authority Employees; and
  • Developing project delivery standards and procedures.

To date, TRAUNER has performed these services on over thirty separate Task Orders. The projects are diverse and include, but are not limited to, the replacement of existing emergency egress doors at the Port Authority Bus Terminal; the replacement of roofing; restoration of the curtain wall and metal panels, and relocation of rooftop MEP equipment at the John F. Kennedy International Airport; the HVAC system replacement, sprinkler system upgrades, Building Management System and controls upgrades at Newark Airport; the demolition, removal and disposal of the inboard and outboard platforms at Berths E-1 and E-2 at the Port Jersey Port Authority Marine Terminal; and the $40M construction of a new, 2-story, steel framed building for the new substation and related exterior stairs and platforms at PATH Substation 8.
